QUESTION,

✯SOME PICTURES a TO c ARE GIVEN BELOW. TELL WHICH OF THEM SHOW,

\red{\text{ncert class 7 chapter 2 question 1 solution exercise 2.2}}

\sf\large{\star \: a) 3 \times \dfrac{1}{5} = \dfrac{3}{5}}

ANSWER✔

\large\underline\bold{OPTION\: :- C, IS\:CORRECT.}

\red{\text{REFER THE ATTACHMENT.}}

REASON,

\sf\star \:\: \text{there are three rectangles , each rectangle contains 5 parts in it .}

\sf\therefore \text{ the shaded part of three rectangles are,}

\sf\therefore \: for\:first\:rectangle,

\sf\dashrightarrow \text{ from five parts one of them is shaded.}

\sf\therefore SIMILARLY,\:FOR\:OTHER\:TWO\:RECTANGLES.

\sf\therefore  \text{from five parts one shaded, }

\sf\dashrightarrow \text{ it can be written in the form of fraction as}

\sf{\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\dashrightarrow \dfrac{1}{5}}

\sf\therefore \text{ there are three rectangles each containing 5 parts ,}

\sf{\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\: \therefore \: \dfrac{1}{5} +\dfrac{1}{5} +\dfrac{1}{5} = \dfrac{ 3}{5}}

\sf\star \:\:and \:\: \dfrac{3}{5} \: can\:also\:be\:written\:as,

\sf{\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\dashrightarrow \dfrac{1}{5} \times 3 = \dfrac{3}{5}}

\sf\star \:\:where \:\: \dfrac{1}{5}\: is \:a\:part\:of\:rectangle\:shaded,and has\:three\:such\:rectangles\:rectangles.
