Psychological tricks, you ask?
Here ya go:
• Chew gum when you're in a tense situation. It works as our brain thinks it isn't a tense situation as we are eating or say, chewing something.
• Foot in the door technique (FITD): Let's say you want a big favour from someone. What you've got to do is ask them for a small favour one and if they agree, there are higher chances that they'll agree to the bigger one too.
• Door in the face technique: It's just the opposite of the FITD. Let's say you want to have an ice-cream. You go to mum to ask if she could give money for it. She denies. You play the DITF technique and go to her. This time you ask for bigger favours that are mostly likely be denied by her. But, this time, she'll agree to your small favour and you'll be satisfying yourself with a butterscotch cone.
P.S. Do tell me if you want more.
