(ii)

In ΔBCD, BO is the median.

So, Area(ΔBCO) = Area(ΔBDO)

On adding (i) & (ii), we get

⇒ Area(ΔACO) + Area(ΔBCO) = Area(ΔADO) + Area(ΔBDO)

⇒ Area(ΔABC) = Area(ΔABD).
