Step-by-step explanation:

let the teacher age = x

let the total age of students = y

17=y/32

y=17*32

y=544

if mean age is 18

18=544+x/33

544+x=18*33

544+x=594

x=594-544

x=50

Answer:

Let the average age of a class of 32 students be x years.

Then ,the age of teacher be z years.

A/Q

x/32=17. (1)

x=544.

Now,another condition of question.

(x+y)/33=18.

544+y=18×33.

y+544=5.

y=594-576.

y=50.
