⏺️First rationalise each term .

 \frac{1}{1 + \sqrt{2} } \times \frac{1 - \sqrt{2} }{1 - \sqrt{2} } = \frac{1 - \sqrt{2} }{ - 1} = (\sqrt{2} - 1)

Similarly ,

 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} + \sqrt{3} } = (\sqrt{3} - \sqrt{2} )

Thus,

The question becomes as follows :-

 \sqrt{2} - 1 + \sqrt{3} - \sqrt{2} + \sqrt{4} - \sqrt{3} + \sqrt{5} - \sqrt{4} + \sqrt{6} - \sqrt{5} + \sqrt{7} - \sqrt{6} + \sqrt{8} - \sqrt{7} + \sqrt{9} - \sqrt{8} \\ \\ = 3 - 1 \\ = 2
