Hello,

The question can be easily solved using the technique of unitary method.
In this we find the value of 1 object, when the value of that particular object is given in plural.
And, then multiply with the desired number to find the value of that many numbers of the object

Cost of 34/9 m cloth = rs 1064/5
Cost of 1 m cloth =
 \frac{1064 \times 9}{5 \times 34}
Cost of 23/3 m cloth =
 \frac{1064 \times 9}{5 \times 34} \times \frac{23}{3} = \frac{1064 \times69}{170} = 431.8588

So, the cost of the cloth is rs 431.86 (approx)

Hope this will be helping you ✌️

if we get 34/9 m pf cloth in 1064/5 rs
then, 1m cloth will be (1064/5) x (9/34)=56.32
now to calculate 23/3 meters cloth rupees =
56.32 x 23/3 = 431.78

her the conversion of mixed fraction is
7+3/9 = 34/9
212+4/5 = 1064/5
7+2/3 = 23/3
