16 + 8 = 24

24 ÷ 4 = 6

6 - 2 × 3

i.e = 6 - 6

Then Addition

16 + 2 = 18

And Finally Subtraction

18 - 6 = 12

16 + 8 ÷ 4 - 2 × 3

= [16 + (8 ÷ 4)] - (2 × 3)

= [16 + 2] - 6

= 18 - 6 = 12
