Given :-

AD = 2

DB = 3

AE = 3

We have to find the value of EC

Solution :-

In this question we have to find the value of EC.

If, ∠ADE = ∠ABC.

Then DE || BC.

And, if DE || BC then we can find the value of EC by BPT (Basic Proportional Theorm)

AD/DB = AE/EC ......(1)

2/3 = 3/EC

2EC = 3 * 3

2EC = 9

EC = 9/2

EC = 4.5

Therefore, Option C is the correct answer.

We will put the value in equation 1.

If our L.H.S will be equal to R.H.S then our answer is correct.

2/3 = 3/4.5

2/3 = (3 * 10)/45

2/3 = 10/15
