My online classes are a convenience for me. They allow me to take additional classes that would not have fit into my schedule otherwise. I am not a traditional student, so I have non-traditional needs. Internet classes allow me to remain at home with my family. Taking Internet classes has many advantages for a non-traditional, and traditional student, such as: saving money, saving time, and most of all the convenience. Internet classes are the answer for many students with non-traditional needs. However, the only downfall to my Internet class was a computer virus, which was disastrous. I lost everything on my computer, but as for the important files I had backup on floppies. I was lucky, my sister-in-law came within a few days and fixed my computer, so I did not get too far behind. This situation should be considered when taking an Internet class.

This situation should be considered when taking an Internet class.    In my experience with Internet classes, the good far outweigh the bad. Taking Internet classes has saved me money. If I were taking traditional classes,  I would be spending about twenty dollars a week in gas alone, not to mention the wear and tear on my car. The only expense that I incur with Internet classes is my server charge, which is about twenty-five dollars a month. That means by taking Internet classes I am saving over eighty dollars a month, and that does not include wear and tear on my car. I could finance a new computer with the savings from taking online classes

I do not think prevention of online classes would be smart at all. I understand some colleges may want freshmen to get the full experience of a college campus but some people cannot always go to the campus every single day. Online class is extremely beneficial to many people in many ways. Mainly because if someone has something that gets in the way of them going to their college campus, they can just go onto their school’s website and get the work done through there. That is extremely beneficial for many students for many reasons. I do not think that preventing a busy student from their only source of schooling is fair. Every students schedule is not the same, some students are way busier than other and just simply do not have time to be at their college campus all of the time. Prevention of online classes for students, is not at all reasonable in my opinion. The first reason is, I feel like Chattahoochee Technical College should not prevent students from online classes is because online schooling is very beneficial and convenient for majority of college students. There are so many students who want and love college but sometimes it just gets too hectic. That is when most students turn to alternative options, one being online classes. Simple because if their schedule is full of things that they absolutely have to do, they will not have time to go to the campus every single day for every single class. I also understand that there are late night classes but even those are not practical for everyone.</p><p></p><p>The disadvantage of online classes is this that in some places , students are only getting to copy the work which is not good for them and if this same continues then it will be very difficult to make kids educated...$
