Answer:

As we know that the sum of a triangle is 180 so to find the angle a,b and c and angle a=b=c

we know that the sum of an exterior angle is sum of two interior angle

Angle A+B=100(1)

2A=100

A=50

so, angle a and b =50 ie 100

sum of triangle is 180

50+50+C=180

C=180-100

C=80

Angle A=50,Angle B=50,

Angle C=80

Find the value of Angle B in the given figure ABC .

\huge\purple{\boxed{\mathcal{Solution}}}

We know that linear pair has a sum equal to 180 ,

Now since , Let the angle with 100 be x .

Solving for value of x . We get ,

= x + 100 = 180

= x = 180 - 100

= x = 80°

Now let angle b and a be equal .

If the value of a is y then b would be ,

= y + y = 100

= 2y = 100

\implies\:y\:=\:\bf\frac{100}{2}

= y = 50

Hence the angles of the traingle are 50 , 50 and 80 .

As stated by triangle angle sum property rule the sum of all angles of a triangle will always be equal to 180 degree .

Let's put these values in the formula a + b + c = 180 ,

= 50 + 50 + 80 = 180

= 100 + 80 = 180

= 180 = 180

LHS = RHS

Therefore proved .

What is a traingle ?

Answer : A triangle is a closed two dimensional figure made up of three line segments also known as a polygon .

How many vertices , sides and angles does a triangle have ?

Answer : A triangle has three vertices , three sides and three angles .

What are the types of triangles on the basis of sides ?

Answer : On the basis of sides triangles can be divided into three category that is equilateral triangle , isosceles triangle and scalene triangle .

Equilateral triangle : A triangle with all three sides equal is known as equilateral triangle .

Isosceles triangle : A triangle with two sides equal is known as isosceles triangle .

Scalene triangle : A triangle with all sides of different measures is known as scalene triangle .

What are the types of triangle on the basis of angles ?

Answer : On the basis of angles triangles are of three types :- Acute angled triangle , obtuse angle triangle and right angle triangle .

Note : An acute triangle has all interior angles less than 90 degree and obtuse angle triangle has all angles greater than 90 degree and a right angle triangle has one angle is equal to 90 degree .

Mention some properties of triangles .

  • A triangle has all angles sum is equal to 180 degree .

  • The sum of exterior angle of any triangle is equal to the sum of two opposite interior angle .

  • The sum of lengths of two sides of a triangle is always greater than the third side .
