Planning is one of the most widely accepted strategy of judicious use of resources.It is very important for a country like India where enormous diversity exists in the availability of resources.
Regional disparity is seen everywhere in India.There are regions which are rich on certain types of resources.On the other hand,these regions are deficient in other resources.Still,there are some terms of the availability of resources.On the other hand,there are some other regions which have acute shortage of some vital resources.To overcome this,resource planning is very essential.
