This comprise customs ,practices,places,objects and related styles and ornamentation.

It may be both tangible or may be intangible.

Importance of preservation: It is mandatory to preserve cultural heritage because it generates national integrity.

Intangible cultural heritage is not a manifestation of national culture. In reality the wealth of knowledge and skills are transmitted through cultural heritage of a nation.
