Question find the following angles ,
- Angle BCA , Angle DCE , Angle DEG , Angle CDE
Solution :
Firstly we can see that angle 130° + angle BAC form linear pair so ,
- 130 + angle BAC = 180
- Angle BAC = 180 - 130
- Angle BAC = 50
Now in triangle ABC by angle sum property ,
- 50 + 75 + Angle BCA = 180
- Angle BCA = 180 - 125
- Angle BCA = 55
We can see that Angle BCA is vertically opposite to Angle DCE So ,
- Angle BCA = Angle DCE = 55
Angle ABC and Angle CDE form alternate interior angles thus they are equal ,
- Angle CDE = Angle ABC = 75
Now by angle sum property in triangle CDE ,
- 55 + 75 + Angle DEC = 180
- Angle DEC = 180 - 130
- Angle DEC = 50
Angle DEC and Angle DEG form a linear pair thus ,
- Angle DEC + Angle DEG = 180
- 50 + Angle DEG = 180
- Angle DEG = 130
