Saying 'No' nicely

Saying 'No' - do you think that is easy? Well for most people, no it is not easy. It may seem easy but it is harder than it seems. But even if it is hard we should learn to say 'no' when needed because 'yes' isn't always going to help us.

It may be with friends, family or classmates - when we are asked to do something or when we are asked something uncomfortable it is right to say that you can't do it or can't talk about it politely.

Well usually with classmates or colleagues it is harder to say 'No' because of a lesser connection with them and sometimes when we reject something from them, we're immediately portrayed as a unpleasant person. So people don't say 'no'. But it is far more better and good for us to say 'No' at first than be criticised later and face the consequences.

Saying 'No' harshly is indeed a bad thing, while rejecting a thing one should be polite. For every 'No' there is a reason and that should be conveyed politely without hurting the other person. We should learn to say 'No' nicely if something makes us uncomfortable, that is an important part of our lives.
