Citizens' rights in Saudi Arabia can be described as follows:
The ruler of the country is a hereditary king and people have no role in electing their rulers.
The legislature and the executive are selected by the king and the judges are also appointed by him. Their decisions can also be overturned by him.
Citizens cannot form political parties or political organisations. The media is censored and cannot report anything that displeases the monarch.
Freedom of religion is not granted. Every citizen is required to be a Muslim. Non-Muslim citizens can follow their religion only in private.
Women are denied many rights and face many restrictions in their day to day lives.
4.Rights are legal, social, or ethical principles of freedom or entitlement; that is, rights are the fundamental normative rules about what is allowed of people or owed to people, according to some legal system, social convention, or ethical theory.
5. One can claim there right in following ways;
(i) A right is plausible when we make a call that is uniformly desirable for others. One cannot have a right that injures or hurts others.
(ii) The demands we make should be conscious. They should be in such a way that it can be made accessible to others in similar measure.
(iv) A right comes with a moral responsibility to recognize others' rights.
