1) 3x + ky = 7

LET X= 0 ,

3×0 + ky = 7

 ky = 7

 k =\dfrac {7}{y}

 IF Y = 7,THEN K = 1 <i>and so on</i>

 2) 2x - 5y = 1

LET X =0,

 2×0 - 5y = 1

 -5y = 1

 y =\dfrac {1}{-5}
