I pledge to not light any fire crackers.
I will spread awareness in my neighborhood by talking to people about noise and high decibels. Also, on air pollution, the burning sulphates and nitrates too.
I will use more diyas and lanterns to make my home festive, and rangolis that are more colorful than the momentary bursts of light in the sky!
I want my Diwali free of the acrid smoke that I, and my family, are forced to breathe in every year, and the unexpected sounds of exploding firecrackers that raise heart rate and ruin sleep.
I pledge not to make this Diwali about lung disease and skin burns, but, about having a wonderful time with family, friends, and good food and happiness!
So join us this season and say NO to firecrackers, and pledge to do your bit for your families and your city! :)
Hope this helps u
