Political parties don't give women enough tickets as for the following reasons :-

(1) Politics is mainly male dominated.

(2) People not find women capable to

run government or take up the

leadership.

(3) Gender division as a form of social

division become a political agenda.

Therefore Yes, it can be due to lack of internal democracy as in many cases, a women candidate is not given ticket just because of the gender discrimination.
