let the number of chair =x
and the no of table =. y
now according to 1st condition given that
chair are 5 times more than the table
so we get equation 1st = 5y= x
now according to second condition if we add three more table so the no of chairs = twice
so we equation 2nd = x+3= 2y
now on subtracting Eq 2nd by 1st we get
y =1 and then on putting value of x= 1 in eq2nd
we get
y = 5
hence the no of table =1 and chair =5
