1. Litmus is used as a acid- base indicator. When a solution changes the colour of litmus from red to blue then we assume that the solution is basic or alkaline & when the colour changes from Blue to red we assume that the solution is acidic.
2. Nitric acid is used to prepare aqua regia. Sulphuric acid is used to produce fertilizer.
3. Two organic acids are Acetic acid & Benzoic acid.
4. We take antacid when we suffer from acidity. During acidity the HCl level of stomach increases. To neutralize the excess amount of acid, we take antacid (which are actually basic in nature).
