Power of the combination = +2D
Focal length of convex lens= 25cm or 0.25 m
So, power of convex lens= 1/0.25= +4D

Therefore, the power of convex lens is +4D and both lenses have total power of +2D....
Hence, the power of the concave lens will be=
2-4= - 2D...

(CONCAVE LENS POWER IS REPRESENTED AS NEGATIVE. CONVEX LENS POWER IS REPRESENTED AS POSITIVE.)

Power of concave lens = 1/ focal length in metres

2= 1/focal length
Focal length = 0.5 m= 50cm

Therefore, the concave lens have focal length = 50cm
