(i)

Given Equation is x = 3y.

It can be written as:

⇒ x - 3y = 0

⇒ x - 3y - 0 = 0

⇒ (1)x - (3)y - 0 = 0

On comparing this equation with ax + by + c = 0, we get

⇒ a = 1, b = -3 , c = 0.

Hope this helps!

Equation =
x =3y

Expressing in the form of ax +by + c =0

x - 3y = 0

where a = 1
b = -3
& c = 0
