Plot distance time graph for the following data
Time t(s) - 2 4 6 8 10
Position x(m) - 4 8 12 16 20
Also calculate:
i) average velocity
ii) displacement between 4th and 10 second
Anyone give me 1st answer I will mark as brainlist...

Given that,

Time t (sec)= 2, 4, 6, 8, 10

Position x (m)= 4, 8, 12. 16, 20

We know that,

The distance time graph shows the slope of velocity.

According to figure,

(I). We need to calculate the average velocity

Using formula of average velocity

v_{avg}=\dfrac{D}{T}

Where, D = total distance

T = total time

Put the value into the formula

v_{avg}=\dfrac{20}{10}

v_{avg}=2\ m/s

(II). We need to calculate the displacement between 4th and 10 second

Using formula of displacement

D=d_{10}-d_{4}

Where, d_{10} = distance at 10 sec

d_{4} = distance at 4 sec

Put the value into the formula

D=20-8

D=12\ m

Hence, (I). The average velocity is 2 m/s.

(II). The displacement between 4th and 10 second is 12 m.
