➛ Let w = (2, 6)

➛ Let x = (3, 5)

➛ Let y = (5, 3)

➛ Let z = (6, 2)

➛ Let v = (4, 4)

When we join w, x, y, z and v points they make a straight line. Hence, they lie on a same line.

Name the line.

➤ Line AB.

Steps:

• On a graph, draw the co-ordinate axes x0x' and y0y' intersecting at origin 0.

Plotting points

• Starting from the origin 0 moves 2 unit along the positive side of the x-axis i.e, to the left of the origin 0.

• Now from move 6 units that is parallel a positive direction of y-axis.

• Mark a dot at the point you have reached.

• Label this as w (2, 6).

➤ Similarly plot the other points x (3, 5), y (5, 3), z (6, 2) and v (4, 4).

• Draw straight line passing through the points plotted on the graph.
