$ac = \sqrt{16 + 9 } = \sqrt{25 = 5units}$

$ad = \sqrt{(2 + 2) {}^{2} + (6 - 3) {}^{2} }$

$ad = \sqrt{16 + 9} = \sqrt{25 = 5units}$
