Answer:

angle A= 90 by tangent segment theorem

AP =12. OA=5

BY PYTHAGORUS THEOREM

OP*=AP*PLUS OA*

= 144 PLUS 25

169

SUQARIG BOTH SIDES

OP = 13

take side PB =X

BY PYTHAGORUS THEOREM

HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND

UNDERSTAND CAREFULLY!!!!!

JOIN AO, BO AND OP....

Hope you know tangent to a radius makes a 90 degree angle

So, angle OAP = OBP = 90 degree

Now, in triangle OAP, Using phthagoras theorem

OP^{2}= OA^{2} + OP^{2}

OP^{2} = 5^{2} + 12^{2}

So, OP = 13 cm

Similarly, in triangle OBP, use pythagoras to find BP

BUT!, this time, OB =  3cm , OP=13cm

Hope you understand!

BEST OF LUCK FOR BOARDS!
