2 ohm and 3 ohm are connected in series

so, 2 + 3 = 5

2 ohm and 3 ohm are connected in series

so, 2 + 3 = 5

but

5 and 5 and 1 ohm are connected in parallel

so, 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/1 = 0.71429 ohm

This is a Wheatstone bridge, when you consider it like this in the figure:

I said this is a Wheatstone bridge, because the ratio of the two resistors at the right is equal to the ratio of the resistors to the left, and the one between is neglected

Then you calculate the resistance as usual by cross-multiplying them both and adding them

Here: both 3 Ω resistors are in series, and both 2 Ω resistors are in series

When you add them, you'll get:  3+3 = 9 and 2+2 = 4

Now the 9 Ω and 4 Ω resistors are in parallel

So, your answer now will be:  \frac{1}{9} +\frac{1}{4} = \frac{13}{36} = \frac{36}{13} = is your answer
