Here is the solution :

Given data :

64 x² + y² = 72, and,
xy = 2,

We need to find the value of ,
(4x + (y/2))²,

Formula we need:
(a+b)² = a² + 2ab + b²,

Applying the above formula,

=> (4x)² + (y/2)² + 2*(4x)*(y/2)

=> 16x² + (y²/4) + 4xy,

Multiplying and, dividing the whole expression by 4,

=> (4(16x² + (y²/4) + 4xy)/4)

=> (64x² + y² + 16xy)/4,

=> Substituing the given data,

=> (72 + 16(2))/4

=> (72+32)/4,

=> 104/4,

=> 26,

Therefore : The value of (4x + (y/2))² is 26,

Hope you understand, Have a Great day !
Thanking you, Bunti 360 !!

shilpa55: yes u r amazing
BharathChandraKilari: thank u
Bunti360: Thanks for the appreciation, and no problem ! Have a Great day everyone :), By the way, Thank you for choosing this answer as the brainliest answer :) !.
shilpa55: acha can y explain why y multiplied n divuded the whole expression by 4
Bunti360: Actually it is no need, But instead of taking L.c.m of denominator, I did it !
Bunti360: Also, multiplying 4 gives me 64x^2, which is what I needed, and since I multiplied 4, I needed to divide it by 4, So, I multiplied it by 4 and then divided it again by 4
Bunti360: You can check BharathChandraKilari's solution , he didn't do what it, He instead had taken the L.c.m, which is a good way !
shilpa55: thanks
Bunti360: Anytime :) 1
