let the breadth be x

length is 40 cm and diagonal(hypotenuse) is 41cm

by using Pythagoras theorem

41 sq.= 40sq.+x sq.

1681=1600+ x sq.

81=x sq

9=x

perimeter of rectangle=2(9+40)

=98
