1) if 20 people liked classical music, how many young people were surveyed ?
2 ) which type of music is liked by the maximum no.of people ?
3 ) if a cassette company were to make 1000 CD's , how many of each type would they make ?

According to pie diagram 10% like classical .

Let total young people surveyed be x.

So

20 = 10% of x

x = 20 × 100/10

x = 200

So 200 young people are surveyed.

Q.2

Since most of the part of pie is occupied by the light music .

Most of the people like light music.

Q.3

If a company has to make 1000 cassette

1000 × 10% = 100 should be of classical music

1000 × 20% = 200 should be of semi classical music

1000 × 30% = 300 should be of folk music.

1000 × 40% = 400 should be of light music
