velocity= distance /time = 60/5 =12
Since the velocity of the water is 5m/s and he crossed it with the velocity of 12m/s{ (60 / 5 ) m/s }......So , need the velocity in still water therefore by using vector addition of these two velocities we get the resultant 13 m/s
