hey friend,
liquids are the substances which have a definite volume but not a definite shape and structure.
they also have property of fluidity. it means that they can flow.
they have a weak intramolecular force of attraction in comparison to solids but have a greater intramolecular force of attraction as compared to gases.

Liquid state is the state of matter in which matter can flow
properties are as follows :
1 -they take the shape of the container in which they are kept.
2- there is more intermolecular distance between them.
3- there is low intermolecular force between them.
4- they are fluid.
