Given:-

Perimeter = 38 cm

Breadth = 7 cm

Shape of frame = rectangle

Procedure:-

Perimeter = (l + b) × 2 = (l × 2) + (b × 2)

As breadth is consisting two times in Perimeter, breadth accounted for = 7cm × 2 = 14cm

Therefore length accounted for = Perimeter - Breadth accounted for = 38cm - 14cm = 24cm

So as 24cm is double the length, we can get length by dividing 24cm by 2.

Therefore length = 24cm ÷ 2 = 12cm

Answer:-

12cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle=38 2(l +b)=38 2(l+7)=38 2l+14=38 2l=38-14 2l= 2l=24/2 b=12 cm. So lenght is equal to 12cm and breadth is 7cm
