hey there !! ,,

given :- de || BC and AE/AC = 2/5 and , AB= 15
to find :- AD = ?
since ,
de || BC ( given)
therefore ,
by Thales theorem or ( basic proportionality theorem )
we get ,
ad/ab = ae/ac
ad/15 = 2/5
ad = 30/5
ad = 6
hence ad = 6 units ,,
