the resistors of resistance 6 ohm and 4ohm are in parallel (3+1)

so the equivalent resistance = 1/6+ 1/4 = 2.4 ohm

the rest of the resistors are in series and hence :

2.4 ohm + 3 ohm + 3.6 ohm = 9 ohm

resistance = 9 ohm

voltage = 4.5 volt

we know that to find the current drawn = I=V/R

that is 4.5/9 = 0.5 ampere

therefore the current flowing through the electric circuit is 0.5 ampere
