olivia77: R is the answer but idk how
Anonymous: make a circle, two semicircular arcs will be 2 ohms each
Anonymous: make a diameter, and then both arcs will be in parallel
Anonymous: so 2R & 2R are in parallel
Anonymous: so R is your answer :)
olivia77: Ohh right
olivia77: Thanks a lot!
olivia77: I don’t know why I was confused the answer was so easy to find
Anonymous: no problem :)
Anonymous: it's ok now

R=pl/a (where p is specific resistivity,l is length,a is thickness,and R is its resistance)

4R=pl/a

l=4Ra/p

>>On changing wire into circle only it's length become circumference, and nothing happens to it's thickness and resistivity

>>l=2πr

>>l=πd. { since 2r=d}

>>l=πd=4Ra/p

>>l=d=4Ra/pπ

Now, new resistance

By formula,R=pl/a

R=p*4Ra/pπa=4R/π

Answer : 4R/π
