A) find the perimeter of lawn
B) find the area of the square field excluding the lawn

Answer: side of sq. = 70 m
diameter of circle = 70 m
⇒ radius = 70/2 = 35 m
i) perimeter of circle = circumference = 2πr/2= πr
22/7 × 35 = 110 m
area of sq. field excluding the lawn :
area of sq - area of semicircle = (side)² - πr²/2
70² - 22/7×35×35/2 = 4900 - 1925 = 2975 m²
