i) V=IR

for 5 Ohm,

I=V/R=10/5=2 A

in series combination current is same

so current for R IS ALSO 2A

ii) R=V/I=6/2=3 Ohm

as in series Reff=5 +3=8 Ohm

iii) total resistance is 8 Ohm and current is 2A

SO

V=IR=2x8=16 V
