A hammer of mass 500 gm moving at a speed of 50m/sec , strikes a nail .The nail stop the hammer in a very short time of 0.01 sec. What is the force of the nail on the hammer ?

=500/1000
=0.5kg
u=50m/sec
v=0m/sec
t=0.01sec
v=u+at
0=50+0.01×a
-50=0.01×a
-50/0.01=a
-5000=a
=> Retardation=5000m/sec
F=m×a
F=0.5×5000
F=10000N
=500/1000
=0.5kg
u=50m/sec
v=0m/sec
t=0.01sec
v=u+at
0=50+0.01×a
-50=0.01×a
-50/0.01=a
-5000=a
=> Retardation=5000m/sec
F=m×a
