Let AB (height of the triangles) be x.
Area of triangle=1/2*b*h
In case of triangle ABE- 1/2*6*x=3x
In case of triangle BAD- 1/2*9*x=4.5x
So, A(ABE)/A(BAD)
3x/4.5x=6/9=2/3
