Hi...!

Let one of the angles be x °.

Then , the other angle = 1x/3°

We know, complementary angles sum up to make 90 °.(example---40° and 50°)

So, ⇒ x + 1x/3 = 90°

⇒4x/3 = 90°

⇒4x = 90*3°

⇒x = 270/4 ° = 67.5° is value of x .

Thus other angle = 1/3 * 67.5 = 22.5°

Answer : Hence , the angle which is 1/3rd of its complement is 22.5°
