Answer:

let the son age be y

the father age be x

x=3y ..(i)

Five years later, my age will be (x+5) years and my son's age will be (y+5) years.

∴x+5=(2+ 1/2)(y+5) [Given]

⇒2x−5y−15=0 .....(ii)

Putting x=3y in equation (ii), we get

6y−5y−15=0⇒y=15

Putting y=15 in equation (i) we get

x=45

I hope it help u... mark as brainliest

Answer: My age is 45 and my son's age is 15.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let my age be x and my son's age be y

Given x=3y

And x+3= 5/2(y+5)

From equation 2

2x+10=5y+25

Substitute first equation in this

6y+10=5y+25

y=15

x=3y=3×15=45
