Ans:*Democracy is government of the people ,for the people ,by the people .It may be slow ,less effective ,not much responsive but it is pepole's own government ..
*democracy had strengthened the claims of various discrimated and disadvantaged groups for equal status and equal freedom ..
*the passion for respect and freedom are the basis of democracy and the world democracies had taken this their basic principal which is an achiement for it ..
*but from the case of belgium and sri lanka
We came to know that democracy must fulfill two conditions to accomodate social diversity
1- rule by the majority should not become the rule by majority in terms of the discrimination on the ground of sex ,caste ,religion ,linguistics groups etc
2-the majority community should always work with the minority community so as to represent a general view in the country
3-There is a need for the sharing of revenue .power .influence between the minority and the majority community :
