You can either do this by herons method or simply by area = 1/2 base X height but have to find height herons method is (under root) s X (a - s) (b - s) (c - s)

you can find out the area by using Heron's formula. Area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
and, s= (a+b+c)/2
