Here,
V= 5V
Resistors are in series so..
R= R1 + R2 = 13+12=25
Now
I = V/R
I = 5/25
I = 0.2
When resistors are connected in series combination, the current remains same throughout but voltage differs. Therefore
To find the potential difference through the resistor of 12Ω
We have to apply ohms law...
That is
V = IR
V = 12 x 0.2
V = 2.4 V
