The ratio of Students who Travel by school bus to the students who travel on their own is 9:11 . Find the percentage of the students who Travel on their own ?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ Travel By bus : Travel on their own = 9 : 11

Let , Students Travel By bus & Travel by their own are 9x & 11x Respectively. .

So,

→ Total Students of school = Students Travel By bus + Travel on their own

→ Total Students of school = 9x + 11x

→ Total Students of school = 20x .

Therefore,

→ % Of students who Travel on Their own = (No. of students Travel on their own * 100) / Total Students of school .

→ Required % = (11x * 100) / 20x

→ Required % = 11 * 5

→ Required % = 55% (Ans.)

Hence, 55% Of students Travel on Their own..

Therefore percentage pf students travelled by their own = 55 percent.
