GIVEN:- AD is perpendicular to BC.

PROVE:- ∆ABC is an isosceles ∆.

PROOF:- In ∆ABO & ∆ACO

AB = AC (given)

AOB= AOC (90°)

AO. = AO. (common side)

Hence, ∆ ABO is congruent to ∆ACO (SAS).
