B - Sodium Hydroxide ( NaOH )

Chloro - Alkali process ;

NaCl + H2O ---> NaOH + Cl2 + H2

So, NaOH ( A base or alkali ) is obtained as a by - product.

2 NaOH + SO2 --> Na2SO3 + H2O
