Prayer can also help people achieve goals, dreams and other tasks they may want to accomplish in life. Prayer is out there to help people live their lives better and more comfortably.
Of course, some people don't believe that prayer can heal sicknesses and problems. People believe that prayer is a waste of time and it is useless to the situation that they are in. People do not use prayer because they are either ignorant of it or they just don't believe in it. Instead of using prayer to heal and assist people in everyday problems, people rather would use medicine, psychiatric help, and waste a lot of money on gimmicks that are simply plotted as a scam. Instead of wasting time and money planning to see which remedy can help the best, people can also result to prayer. If a doctor told a person that they where going to die in 24 hours and there was no medicine in the world that could keep them alive, the only resort they would have would be to result to prayer; the power of healing.
First of all the when people pray, it is God who answers people's prayers. It is said that, "the one who prays must have a vital connection with God"(Ford 62). People have to believe in God in order for him to answer their prayer. One of the ways people can start a relationship with God is by believing in Christianity. It is said that, "a Christian is a person of many high privileges that a none believer never has (Ford 13). However, " an Christian sweetest privilege is talking to God, for that's what prayer is. Christianity opens up a lot of opportunities in people's lives.
