Protein is digested in the stomach.
Fat Digestion starts in mouth and is completed in small intestine.
Carbohydrate Digestion mostly occurs in the intestine.
2) enzymes required:
PROTEIN-protease
FATS-lipase
CARBOHYDRATES-carbohydrase ,amylase etc
3)Simpler products after breakdown:
PROTEIN-amino acids
FATS-fatty acids+glycerol
CARBOHYDRATES- sugar
